Getting started

Are we a good fit?

We're built for companies that want to access our Banking as a Service or credit products. If that doesn't describe you, we recommend using another bank. We'll be happy to have you, but basic business banking will not be our core focus. You'll also need to be a registered UK company limited by shares (Ltd) to open a full account with Griffin. For more detail, see our eligibility page.

Your deposits are protected

Should we be successful in our attempt to become a fully regulated UK bank, we will be covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Deposits held at Griffin would then be protected by the FSCS up to a value of £85,000 per depositor. The FSCS imposes some eligibility restrictions. Visit the FSCS website to learn more.
